Ron Howard's latest project Frost/Nixon has just added Kevin Bacon to its cast. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor will be playing Nixon's chief of staff Jack Brennan in the film.

The movie is an adaptation of a play by the same name. It is based on a series of television interviews with former President Nixon. They were conducted by David Frost in 1977. Nixon admitted his guilt regarding the Watergate scandal in the last of these interviews.

The film will begin shooting later this summer.
