Keri Russell has landed the lead against comedian Adam Sandler in the Disney fantasy Bedtime Stories. According to Variety, Hairspray's Adam Shankman is directing the film.

Russell is set to play Sandler's love interest in the comedy. Sandler is an overworked real estate developer that finds his world turned upside down when his niece's bedtime stories start to come to life.

The film is set to start shooting in February with a Holiday 2008 release date.

Bedtime Stories was released December 25th, 2008 and stars Adam Sandler, Keri Russell, Guy Pearce, Russell Brand, Richard Griffiths, Teresa Palmer, Lucy Lawless, Courteney Cox. The film is directed by Adam Shankman.
