E! is creating a spinoff to its Playboy-themed The Girls Next Door featuring Kendra Wilkinson.

According to Variety, Kendra will focus on Wilkinson's life after leaving the Playboy Mansion and getting engaged to Philadelphia Eagles receiver Hank Baskett. The Comcast-owned cabler has ordered eight episodes of the series and tentatively plans to start running it in the summer.

The Girls Next Door mastermind Kevin Burns will also serve as exec producer on the series. Kendra is produced by Prometheus Entertainment, Fox TV Studios and Alta Loma Entertainment.

E! also announced that The Girls Next Door will be returning in the fall.
