Ken Loach Travels Down Route Irish
The film was written by Loach's longtime writing partner Paul Laverty.
Route Irish follows two men who make their living as private security contractors in Iraq. When Frankie gets killed on "Route Irish" -- the road that links Baghdad airport to the Green Zone -- Fergus, unable to overcome his grief and guilt, doesn't accept the official explanation and sets about investigating the truth of his friend's death.
Starring in the film are Mark Womack (Sorted) and Andrea Lowe (Where The Heart Is).
