Ken Kwapis has signed on to direct the romantic drama, He's Just Not That Into You for New Line Cinema; Drew Barrymore and Nancy Juvonen are producing through their Flower Films.

The film is based on the best-selling book that is a social commentary about modern-day relationships and how men and women often misconstrue the intentions of the opposite sex, says The Old Mill ; it's written by Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo.

The movie's story line sees a hard-line advice guy fall for a woman who seeks him out because she can't figure out the men in her life. Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein wrote the adaptation.
