Kelly McGillis is set to appear in a couple of episodes of the successful Showtime series The L Word. According to Variety, she will be playing a military attorney working on a "don't ask, don't tell" case.

The show, which premiered in 2004, follows the lives and loves of a small, close-knit group of lesbians living in Los Angeles. It also focuses on their friends and the family members that either support or loathe them.

New episodes of The L Word will being airing this fall.
