Katie Cassidy is set for Monte Carlo
The film centers on a girl and her best friend who travel to Paris along with her future stepsister and, when one of the girls is mistaken for a snobby British heiress, they are whisked away to Monte Carlo for a vacation. Andie MacDowell has also joined the cast along with Cory Monteith, who will play the love interest.
The film is based off the novel "Headhunters" by Jules Bass, who also co-wrote the adaptation of the film with April Blair. Thomas Bezucha is directing the film, which was said to start shooting next month, with filming to take place in London, Paris and Monaco.
Cassidy will next be seen in the upcoming horror remake A Nightmare on Elm Street, due in theaters on April 30.
Monte Carlo was released July 1st, 2011 and stars Selena Gomez, Katie Cassidy, Leighton Meester, Cory Monteith, Andie MacDowell, Brett Cullen, Amanda Fairbank-Hynes, Joe Camp III. The film is directed by Thomas Bezucha.
