Katharine McPhee and Wes Bentley Set for The Storyteller

Katharine McPhee and Wes Bentley have boarded the indie psychological drama The Storyteller, with Robert Angelo Masciantonio set to direct for Feverpitch Pictures. Anita Briem has also signed on.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bentley plays a writer who goes on a downward spiral when his father dies, causing his assistant (McPhee) to start investigating whether his muse as well as narrator for his stories (Briem) is a figment of his imagination.

Production is schedule to begin in August.

Just watched Wes Bentley's life doc*mentary. I was surprised... it's titled My Big Break. I would be curious to see him with McPhee.

McPhee acts now? I love tha girl, but just because youre a singer doent mean you can act such as Britney Spears and Mariah Carey. Those bitches still THINK they can act! Plus if Mariah Carey throwing that first pitch was acting...she should win an Oscar!

Intriguing premise...Hopefully, Hot Katherine McPhee's burgeoning acting carreer supercedes her singing.
