Kate Bosworth and Alexander Skarsgard Are Straw Dogs
The film is a "reimagining" of Sam Peckinpah's film from 1971. This new version is being written and directed by Rod Lurie.
Marsden plays a screenwriter who moves to Mississippi with his wife (Bosworth). Skarsgard plays her ex-boyfriend who has plans to get her back and that's where things take a bad turn.
The film is set to start shooting in August.
Straw Dogs was released September 16th, 2011 and stars James Marsden, Kate Bosworth, Alexander Skarsgård, James Woods, Dominic Purcell, Rhys Coiro, Billy Lush, Laz Alonso. The film is directed by Rod Lurie.

Wow, is Hollywood trying to f*ck up every classic with a sh*t remake these days. This is going to end up being a cheap thriller a la Lakeview Terrace, just watch.
