Beckinsale will play a small-town waitress who has suffered through a tumultuous relationship with her estranged husband (Rockwell).
Her credits include The Aviator, Van Helsing, Serendipity and Pearl Harbor. She has also carried genre pics Underworld and the upcoming Underworld: Evolution, in theaters in January.
