Paramount has brought on Karey Kirkpatrick (Over the Hedge) to direct the Eddie Murphy comedy NowhereLand and plans to begin shooting Sept. 10, according to Variety.

Murphy came on board earlier this year for the project, written by Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson. Lorenzo di Bonaventura is producing with Solomon.

Murphy portrays a successful financial executive who finds his career going down the drain and discovers the answers to his problems within his daughter's imaginary world.
