Justin Timberlake eyes lead role in Coen brothers film
The story focuses on the folk music scene in Greenwich Village in the 1960s and the title character is loosely based on Dave Van Ronk, a folk singer who was friends with Bob Dylan, among other famous musicians.
Justin Timberlake would play the role of Jim, a folk musician married to Jean, played by Carey Mulligan.
Drive's Oscar Isaac stars as the title character, a struggling folk musician born and bred in Queens. Despite being a talented singer and guitarist, he just can't seem to make ends meet playing music.
Production is scheduled for early next year in New York City.
Inside Llewyn Davis comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Justin Timberlake, John Goodman, Jeanine Serralles, Garrett Hedlund. The film is directed by Joel Coen, Ethan Coen.

Hes mediocre at best. Its like you never forget hes playing a part, and reading lines. He doesnt make them his own words and it comes across unnatural. Just my opinion
