Justin Marks to Rewrite 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Captain Nemo

According to The Hollywood Reporter, McG is still directing 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Captain Nemo but it has a new writer.

It turns out that Justin Marks will be rewriting Bill Marsilii's script of the Disney adventure.

Marks will apparently flesh out "the deep-sea universe" from the 1954 film. The original film was an adaptation of the Jules Verne novel. Marks apparently only has one month to work with McG and the craft designers on the film.

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Captain Nemo comes to theaters in 2013. The film is directed by David Fincher.

Why did they use that subtitle it sounds so lame after you say the whole thing lol. What's wrong with just 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea? That title they chose will not fit on any theater billboards and the entire dvd cover will be the name because it's so long lol with maybe a tiny image of a ship and a squid :P

In the line of Comrade's comment I sure Hope its got a similar tone to Bioshock...geez Nemo's one of those project that's been in limbo for AGES!! I Think Nic Cage was to be the leading role at the time....go figure who's competing for it now.
