Justin Bieber and Ashton Kutcher to team up for What Would Kenny Do?
Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber ((500) Days of Summer) did a rewrite on Chris Baldi's script, which features cutting-edge hologram technology. A new writer and director are going to be brought on.
The plot centers on a teenager who meets a hologram claiming to be the adult version of himself; the hologram then helps guide the teen through high school.
No production date has been set.

@thedude-abides Bieber has to crossover into films. In a few years, hopefully, his voice will be so deep its no longer appealing and he'll lose his fanbase. He'll have to find something else to do.

I'm not as upset about this as some might think. Ashton Kutcher's career has been done for some time - this news just goes to prove it. And Bieber will be the next in the long line of singers to crossover, however unsuccessfully, into movies. Either way, this movie will be balls.
