Warner Bros. may be planning a Justice League of America movie for 2013
"He's then aiming to release new Batman and Superman films in 2012 and Justice League, a teaming of DC's top heroes, in 2013."
While the piece is generally a profile on Jeff Robinov, who succeeds Alan Horn as Warner Bros. president this week, Jeff Robinov also expressed his confidence in Superman director Zack Snyder, despite a rash of negative fanboy reactions.
"If it's a swing and a miss, you've got to take pride in the fact that we backed the level of vision."
As for the Justice League of America movie, it isn't clear what direction the studio is heading in. George Miller had previously been set to direct Justice League of America back in 2008 before the project fell apart. It isn't known if the studio will resurrect that project or go with a completely different take on the superhero ensemble.

Seems rushed. All we've heard about a JLA movie is that the Justice League: Mortal project was put on hold, and ever since then WB has been trying to figure out what their upcoming film slate is, with JLA taking a backseat on the back burner. Now all of a sudden - 2013?

Some times I get disgusted with Hollywood when I see a horrible film, I roll my eyes and I think I could do a lot better than some directors. there are three types of Directors 'Epic, Good, Horrible'. If JLA was handled right it could turn out to be the best thing possible, but knowing Hollywood someone without the skills could ruin it for years.

Warner's first attempt to get a JLA film off the ground was a disaster waiting to happen, and thankfully it got axed. Hopefully, they go at this with a little more time and thought this go around. Unfortunately, Warner has a reputation when they've got a good thing going they start smelling money and start throwing crap together as fast as possible to strike while the iron is hot.

We need WW ,FLASH , and AQUAMAN origin films first and i'll be honest I don't no much about those three but Aquaman could be some really cool stuff if you think about it and i think kids would go for him more so than the other 2.Thats just my 2cents worth........But i will say it was cool to see the Superman Batman symbol in I AM LEGEND :)

@Mutant - that is the Marvel way of doing things. We don't need another Superman movie to introduce him. Wonder Woman is not going to happen since they can't get off their asses to make a tv show about her properly. The Flash isn't going to happen because he's boring. I don't see this movie being made any time within the next 10 years, and if it does, it will probably suck because they THINK they know what we want, and DON'T listen to us when we tell them.

not holding my breath. they said JL was supposed to be out 3 or 4 times already now. i think the latest incarnation said 2012. i'll believe it when i see it. right now their cast is shoring up a bit (got a superman and GL, but batman is a BIG question mark cuz i doubt bale will reprise that role). also - would they use Wonder Woman from TV?!?!?!?! or recast her? plus there are some other casting holes (make their own movies first? or drown us in all their quickie backstories in one JL story/movie).
a lot of skeptisism about this for me.

NO. Don't make JL yet. Make the movies for the rest of the team first. Make the Wonder Woman movie, Aquaman movie, Flash movie etc first. At least Marvel is doing it right by doing the back story of each character one by one in their own movies and then do the all out ensemble movie. Come On!! Even Nick Fury's gonna have his own movie!!

Nolan isn't going to direct this.... its simple Dark Kight Rising will be his last batman film, and he said that. Honestly he should be moving on to other projects he has in mind, i don't want him sticking to the same genre. I want to see his talents in other genres. As for Bale he isn't the perfect Batman there will be others better, I'm sure.

C. Bale is the Batman, you cant take that away from him. I know it would be hard to put him on board, but everyman has a prize. It would really suck to see a Major movie has the JLA a year after the awesome Dark Knight Rises ( cuz we all know is gonna be Epic or Legen- Dary film) With another guy playing the role.
