Justice League Spoilers Revealed

It's beginning to sound like Justice League of America is going to be more like Challenge of the SuperFriends than Justice League or Batman Begins. According to a source at Moviehole, the movie is going for a tone similar to that of The Rocketeer or Sky High.

Apparently the characters will all be introduced quickly - no origin stories here, each member of the Justice League is already established as a hero. We'll get a chance to see each hero doing their own thing individually. Green Lantern will get to battle a giant monster and fly through space, Aquaman battles a sea creature, the Flash gets to outsmart the Trickster and so on.

We quickly move on to be introduced to Max Lord, our villain. Max is watching what seem to be Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, the Flash and Green Lantern terrorizing a group of homeless people. But it isn't the Justice League at all. It's actually Ultraman, Superwoman, Owlman, Johnny Quick and Power Ring. Fans of the "Justice League" comic will recognize them as the otherworldly counterparts to the Justice Leage - the Crime Syndicate. Somehow Max Lord and the Crime Syndicate are working together.

The Martian Manhunter appears from deep space, and after a brief (and obligatory) misunderstanding/fight scene, the Manhunter reveals that "your world is at an end," and tells the heroes about the OMACs under Max Lord's control.

The reviewer describes the script as "light and fluffy cartoon adventure stuff." It sounds like the filmmakers are doing everything they can to distance themselves from any existing Superman or Batman television or film project. This isn't going to be a movie for adults, but more of a live-action version of the Saturday morning cartoons.

    I think you are all being a little unfair....if you think about it, who are the new comic purchasers? I have a 5 and 6 year old who will love this movie. And I'm sure as adults they will get to see an edgier version on the big screen. Just as we all did. As kids we enjoyed the batman and superman movies. The wonder woman series and the Flash series. Come on guys Let the kids have some superheroes to enjoy.

    yeah they seem to be really good at adding to the terrible news involved in this movie. next they will release plot details telling us that batman dies and wonderwoman has green lanterns baby but aquaman is responsible for drowning him when he tried to take him to atlantis....who knows. all i know is that DC Comics has really shot themselves in the foot here. This movie is going to bomb

    well son of a bitch. i will let you know if you guys thought the movie was going to suck before now it really will. At least before we thought it was going to target all audiences but now they are after children. lik ei said on another comment before. just when i think they cant make this movie suck anymore they always prove me wrong. why do i have a feeling this is going to seem like power rangers. this awful. George Miller your movie is going to suck! DC Comics is going to take a big fall with this film. At least they have The Dark Knight coming out soon. that will get them up a bit before Justice league destroys it. They need to hurry up and get on Superman. They need someone like Metallo, Doomsday, Darkseid, or even Parasite or Bizzaro. Someone that can keep up with Superman on a physical level. They can't wait to long for this. DC how stupid can you be to make something like this when marvel is making the incredible hulk with edward norton, IRon Man which appears to be dead on, Wolverine, all these big films and rather than try and compete and help your popularity your going to make something that will destroy your reputation. We as comic book fans are begging you to please not make this film. Wait til after the next Superman movie and all three Batman films and then make it targeting older audiences as well with a better story line than what we see up there.

    Well, there went what little intrest I had in this movie. Let's make a movie with some of the most bad ass super powered characters into a child's fluffy little bunny... how sweet... it makes me want to puke. I wonder if anyone at the studio has taken the time to see what "kid friendly" did to the original Batman series.
