Justice League of America Casting Is a Go!

George Miller is knee deep into the casting process of Justice League of America. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Miller is looking to cast between thirty-five to forty roles. The main characters include Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman, Green Lantern and the Martian Manhunter.

The film is being produced by Warner Brothers. Those that have been included in the casting sessions are Adam Brody, Joseph Cross, D.J. Cotrona, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Michael Angarano, Teresa Palmer, Max Thieriot, and rapper Common.

Minka Kelly, Adrianne Palicki and Scott Porter, all cast members on NBC's Friday Night Lights, have tested as well.

Who will Miller choose? The director is scheduled to make a casting announcement later this week.

Justice League of America is in development .

    A JLA movie could either be really bad or really good. Miller is a great producer and I trust him alone only because of his work on the Mad Max films.

    I'm not fond of the roster though. I'd really like to see people like Blue Beetle, Guy Gardner, and Booster Gold. Those three were always my favorite as a kid. Well, if it's a success, hopefully it can be a springboard for more films and they can bring in a larger roster.

    I would go with an all-star cast, Batman and Superman should be the ones with those roles right now in the other movies. There's no sense in having 2 Batmans and 2 Supermans if this is hit and there's sequels. Personally I already think this will suck Im just hoping it doesnt suck too much for the sake of the other franchises.

    they really need to be careful with the decision to give this movie the go. Alot of people really feel that this movie is going to blow. You dont want to have this blow and destroy Batman and Superman again. Especially since Nolan just saved the character. I will go see this movie but i dont think its going to be very good.
