Frank Marshall has said that Jurassic Park 4 will be released Summer 2014... do you reckon that is too rushed? Do you think they should take a bit mroe time and get it just right?

I am hoping that with this bit of news that Jurassic Park 4 will quickly go into production considering a date of release is expected November 2013. Then again this has changed loads of times whilst it has been in development hell. But whatever, I want to work on this film so bad!!

@bawnian-dexeus Agreed the animatronics were incredible, I think they went a bit too digital with JP 3

I know technology has come a long way, but I would love for them to use the animatronics

@bawnian-dexeus Sorry just adding that this year two palaeontologists believe that the synonymy between the two is invalid....I dont know haha.....but Triceratops will always be Triceratops no matter what....Torosaurus on the other hand..........

  11. Bradley Tyler

@cheetoboy Yeah that would be good! Considering in most Dinosaur ext books there is the depiction of them confronting.... and there was that excavation that found them in combat when they died. I like that idea.

@bawnian-dexeus what is "actually a juvenile" Palaeontologists have sussed out that the Torosaurus could actually be the mature and fully grown form of the Triceratops leading htme to believe that all of the Triceratop's they have found so far are only "juvenile" it is not the other way round. However this view has been challenged and many think that Torosaurus is still Torosaurus but is similar to the Triceratops making it a member of the Triceratops family. Sorry... dino nerd coming out.

@bradley-tyler@bawnian-dexeus Hey when you think about it, JP4 should have a T-rex Vs Triceratops battle as a good classic carnivore Vs herbivore match, with of course T-rex winning. It was known that in prehistoric times that they were arch rivals.

By the time this gets started, Richard Attenborough would be dead, Sam Neil and Jeff Goldblum would be retired, and you know what, why dont they just give up? Usually when something takes a long time to get done, it usually ends up being mediocre at best, not to mention that it's probably going to be released in 3D.

@bradley-tyler I have read that Michael Crichton left some notes for Jp4 before he passed away?

@cheetoboy Oh I get you completely, the T-Rex will need an opponent apart from the humans, however just needs to be subtly done. I found that a bit of a random moment in JP3 they could have developed on the Ceratosaurus or Carnotaurus (whichever one - I am looking more at Ceratosaurus) a bit more, he just turns up and leaves, I was hoping he/she would turn up later or something. Hopefully he/she can make an appearance in JP 4.

  22. Bradley Tyler

@bawnian-dexeus Incorrect..... what they found out was that a Torosaurus skeleton was actually a fully grown Triceratops leading Palaeontologists to believe that Torosaurus is actually a full-grown Triceratops so in effect Torosaurus does not exist as a dinosaur, HOWEVER this is still under debate between Palaeontologists. So Triceratops is still Triceratops, it has not been debunked. Hopefully it will make a bigger appearance in JP 4.

  23. Bawnian©-Dexeus

@cheetoboy@bradley-tyler Don't forget that last year Triceratops was debunked completely when they discovered that the remains were originally those of an undeveloped three horned dino.

  24. Cheetoboy

@bradley-tyler Yes your very right. T-rex is considered to be the most popular dinosaur of all time. But I half to admit a good adversary, and I mean truly good would be Giganotosaurus, theres not that much known about it, but its mostly famous for being one of 2 carnivores that discovered to be bigger than T-rex, but only by a few feet though. The other was Spinosaurus, but we already discussed that. T-rex in real life would still kick Spinosaurus' ass. Oh yeah, Carnotaurus would be another great addition, on JP3 there was a brief moment with a horned meat eater, but I think that was a Ceratosaurus.

  29. Bradley Tyler

@David-garcia-67788063 yes Giganotosaurus and Carnotaurus will be great additions, but the T-Rex is one of the greater attractions in the film and was always considered to be the best of them all, so I think a lot of fans will be disappointed if he gets pushed to the back. It would be great to add them, but add them carefully so that they don't take all of the attention away from the great T-Rex.
