June Diane Raphael has joined the cast of Harold Ramis' upcoming biblical comedy Year One. According to The Hollywood Reporter, she will be playing Jack Black's love interest.

Raphael is set to play Maya, a woman that falls in love with a man in her village. Michael Cera, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Oliver Platt, David Cross, Vinnie Jones and Juno Temple all make an appearance in the ensemble piece. The screenplay, written by Ramis Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg, is being kept under wraps for now.

The film is set for production this January.

Year One was released June 19th, 2009 and stars Jack Black, Michael Cera, Oliver Platt, David Cross, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Vinnie Jones, Hank Azaria, Juno Temple. The film is directed by Harold Ramis.
