Hayden Christensen may be back in Jumper 2
In a recent interview with MTV, the actor explained that a sequel is being actively discussed. Here is what he had to say:
"We're talking about it right now actually. Hopefully (it will go) somewhere a little darker. I think there's a lot you can do with it. It was sort of set up in a way...It's gonna be mother hunting son and possibly even maybe sister hunting brother. We're talking about it, trying to figure it out."
It is not known at this time if Samuel L. Jackson would also reprise his role in the Untitled Jumper Sequel. To see the full video interview with Hayden Christensen, check out the story on MTV.

Green light it, Jumper II will work very well with Christensen. Jumper I came out close enough to the hype overload from Starwars II & III that I blew it off despite being a hard core sci-fi fan. After seeing Jumper 1 on DVD, I realized the error of my ways. This was a very good movie, done very well with pacing and plot. It's hoped that both Christensen and Bell come back as major players. Samuel Jackson's part came off as a bit like Agent Smith from Matrix I peforming a parody of Snakes on a Plane with a little twist of Hannibal Lechter lite thrown in for effect. The effects were very good, but I'm not sure the Ann Arbor library can take another flooding.

i liked it, t was fun, Hayden was possible brilliant, yes he may be wooden in star wars 2, but it was a huge job to take the helm, number 3 he was great and dark, and jumper hes cool, slick, funny, and charismatic, also his characters meant to be a oduche, the sequel would be great, the first was short punching action packed full to the brim with decent performances.

Guys, f*ck the first film if you didn't like it. I thought it was decent overall, mostly due to Jackson and Christenson had some cool jumping scenes. Still there is so much potential here, and I hope they tap into it with the sequel. Get a different director, and better writing pair, and... yeah, bring it.
