Julianne Moore has recently signed with Nala Films to star in the supernatural horror thriller Shelter. According to Variety, Nala has signed the Swedish duo Mans Marlind and Bjorn Stein to direct.

Shelter is based on a screenplay by Michael Cooney and so far the plot is being kept under wraps. Recent Nala films include Dan in Real Life and In the Valley of Elah.

Filming for Shelter is scheduled begin late March on location in Pittsburgh.

Dan in Real Life was released October 26th, 2007 and stars Steve Carell, Juliette Binoche, Dane Cook, Alison Pill, Brittany Robertson, Marlene Lawston, Dianne Wiest, John Mahoney. The film is directed by Peter Hedges.

In the Valley of Elah was released September 14th, 2007 and stars Tommy Lee Jones, Charlize Theron, Jason Patric, Susan Sarandon, James Franco, Barry Corbin, Josh Brolin, Frances Fisher. The film is directed by Paul Haggis.
