According to The Hollywood Reporter, Judy Greer, Beau Bridges, Matthew Lillard and Robert Forster have come aboard Alexander Payne's The Descendants. Production is going to begin this Monday in Hawaii.

Fox Searchlight is releasing this film.

The Descendants is based on Kaui Hart Hemmings novel. George Clooney stars in this film "as an indifferent husband and father of two girls, who is forced to re-establish his relationship with his daughters after his wife suffers a boating accident off of Waikiki."

Also in the cast are Shailene Woodley, Mary Birdsong, Nick Krause and Amara Miller.

Payne adapted the script with Nat Faxon and Jim Rash.

The Descendants was released December 16th, 2011 and stars George Clooney, Shailene Woodley, Amara Miller, Nick Krause, Patti Hastie, Grace A. Cruz, Kim Gennaula, Karen Kuioka Hironaga. The film is directed by Alexander Payne.
