Judi Dench joins The Curse of the Buxom Strumpet
This period comedy is set in 1713, in the town of Upper Trollop, where a strange plague begins to turn the town's residents into flesh eating cannibals. Lord Fortitude must then lead the survivors in an escape to survive.
Ian McKellen, who appeared in the original short, is reprising his character, and he has already shot his scenes. As he is now on the New Zealand based set of The Hobbit.
There is no set release date at this time for The Curse of the Buxom Strumpet, but it will likely get a European release before it hits the states.
The Curse of the Buxom Strumpet comes to theaters in 2012 and stars Judi Dench, Ian McKellen, Gillian Anderson. The film is directed by Matthew Butler.
