Jude Law and Forest Whitaker Star in The Repossession Mambo
The project has the exact plot description as Bousman's Repo!, only its not a musical. The script centers on artificial organ replacements that can be bought on credit. If you default on your bill, repo men can come and take those organs back, killing you instantly.
The Repossession Mambo marks the directorial debut of Miguel Sapochnik. Eric Garcia wrote the screenplay based on his own novel with help from Garret Lerner. It has been in the planning stages for four years.
The film begins shooting this summer.
