Judd Apatow Prepares for a Five-Year Engagement
Five-Year Engagement is a comedy that charts the five-year engagement of a man (Segel) and his fiancee, following the ups and downs of their relationship. "It's definitely an extension of our desire to explore the depth of human misery," Stoller said. "If Sarah Marshall (played by Kristen Bell) and Jason's character had stayed together, this might be the sequel."
Universal Pictures has not announced when production for Five-Year Engagement is scheduled to begin.
The Five-Year Engagement comes to theaters April 27th, 2012 and stars Jason Segel, Emily Blunt, Alison Brie, Rhys Ifans, Chris Pratt, Kevin Hart, Mindy Kaling, Chris Parnell. The film is directed by Nick Stoller.

yeah i definitely trust judd appatow to make me laugh.
i mean sh*t, ive found his works consistently funny since i was a kid, with the ben stiller show and sh*t.
hell i even have a vague recollection of seeing him do standup on tv when i was a teenager.
plus he brought us seth rogan.
the man knows what funny is.
