The director of 28 Weeks Later has found a new thriller to direct. According to Variety, Juan Carlos Fresnadillo has inked a deal to direct Intruders.

Clive Owen and Daniel Brühl have also signed on to star in the film, which was written by Jaime Marques and Nico Casariego. The story follows an 11-year-old girl who has to face her earlier childhood fears.

The English-language film will start filming in June, with shooting to take place in both London and Madrid.

Intruders was released March 30th, 2012 and stars Clive Owen, Carice van Houten, Daniel Brühl, Ella Purnell, Kerry Fox, Pilar López de Ayala, Lolita Chakrabarti, Mark Wingett. The film is directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo.

    I have not seen any of his movies. Is he really qualified for BioShock? The again, we've had some great movies directed by young, up-and-coming directors.

    I just read at IGN that he is still attached to BioShock, which means that film has been put on hold. However, it's presumably in pre-production, which is a "good sign."
