Josh Zetumer to Write Fourth Bourne Film
George Nolfi, who worked on The Bourne Ultimatum, initially came back for the fourth entry. But as that movie nears its September start date, Nolfi had to step away and Universal hired Zetumer to write a new script. It is unclear what will occur after Zetumer submits his draft or whether his script will be integrated with Nolfi's.
The Untitled Jason Bourne Project begins production in September.
The Bourne Legacy comes to theaters August 3rd, 2012 and stars Rachel Weisz, Jeremy Renner, Joan Allen, Albert Finney, Oscar Isaac, Edward Norton, Stacy Keach, Scott Glenn. The film is directed by Tony Gilroy.

There is one story left to tell with Jason Bourne. What is the real connection between Jason and Nicky. There was one scene in Ultimatum where Nicky looks at Jason and says, "You really don't remember". Thru all 3 movies there has been to me this secret underlining story between these two characters.
I would like # 4 to be about Jason finding out/remembering that Nicky is either his (ex) wife or sister. David Web joined the program to find his wife/sister who went missing or underground or joined to expose the program with Nicky's help but after being brain washed lost all memory of who Nicky was to him. Leading to Jason's real need to remember.
Rewatch all 3 movies and keep this idea in the back of your mind, what is Jason really trying to remember, why did he really join the program, why is Nicky so protective of Jason. The way she looks at him at times or what she says to him in all 3 movies there is a hint of a quiet love she has for Jason/David
JEK.

Lame. No offense, just sounds like a reaching plot to make a 4th. I think 3 ended perfect and they need to just leave it at that. He found out his past, who he was, end of story.

Awesome. Thanks J.A.
And my neighbor said they could have one of his old targets, of the many he doesn't remember, go looking for him, along with a foreign government. An idea.

How bout "The Bourne Redundancy?" LOL JK!
No but I have heard that officially, Matt Damon, Julia Stiles, Joan Allen, and Paul Greengrass are all attached. I am glad, because the way that Stiles' character left in the third film was a bunch of shortchange. I was like, "Wha--?!?? That's how she signs off? BOO!!"
All jokes aside though, where could they go with Bourne now that the end of the third film has come full circle?

The treatment is written by Tony Gilroy, with the story by him, its just that he is only acting as a co-writer / superviser on the screenplay.
Though i'd let people know, so yes Gilroy is involved in this as is Paul Greengrass

The third film was excellent, as was the entire series, I expect the fourth to follow suit. To true Fallen, I wish Tony Gilroy was a part.

I agree with the Joker it will be pretty hard to live up to it, because the third film ended so brilliantly it was literally perfect.
Also there is a new book out, i forgot its name but i keep seeing it places.
The 4th film is entitled 'The Bourne Eternity'

There are still more books left from the bourne series, the bourne legacy, the boune sanction, the bourne deception, and the bourne betrayal, so there is plenty of material to continue the series.
