Josh Holloway (Lost) joins the cast of the Polish brothers' new comedy, Stay Cool, joining a cast that includes Winona Ryder, Mark Polish, Sean Astin, Chevy Chase, Hilary Duff and Jon Cryer.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the project is described as a "knowing-your-age comedy," centering on a successful author (Polish) who is forced to confront an unrequited high school crush, Scarlet Smith (Ryder), when he returns home to deliver a commencement address to graduating seniors.

Holloway will play the former high school jock and ex-boyfriend to Ryder's Scarlet.

Mark and Michael Polish wrote the script. Michael Polish is directing.

Production begins this month in Santa Clarita, Calif.

Stay Cool was released September 16th, 2011 and stars Winona Ryder, Mark Polish, Sean Astin, Hilary Duff, Josh Holloway, Jon Cryer, Chevy Chase, Jessica St. Clair. The film is directed by Michael Polish.
