Josh Holloway joins the cast of Planet B Boy
Brin Hill and Chris Parker are writing the screenplay, which is based on director Benson Lee's 2008 documentary Planet B-Boy. The story follows a B-boy dance crew, who are training for the Battle of the Year International Championships in France. They must go up against the best dancers in the world, primarily the Russian and French crews.
Beau Flynn, Tripp Vinson, and Amy Lo are producing for Screen Gems.
Production has currently started in Los Angeles for a brief shoot before moving to Montpellier, France.
Battle of the Year comes to theaters September 13th, 2013 and stars Josh Peck, Josh Holloway, Chris Brown, Laz Alonso, Caity Lotz, Terrence Jenkins, Weronika Rosati, Alex Martin. The film is directed by Benson Lee.
