Rainn Wilson's The Rocker has added another cast member to its repertoire. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Josh Gad will now be appearing opposite The Office star in this musical comedy.

The script tells the tale of a washed up rocker who got kicked out of his band right before they hit it big. Twenty years later, the metal head, to be played by Wilson, gets a second chance at fame.

Gad will be playing Rainn's nephew. He's the lead singer in the rock band that Wilson ends up joining.

Shooting is scheduled to start June 18th, 2007, in Toronto.
