Josh Brolin to Join Oliver Stone's Money Never Sleeps?

According to Deadline Hollywood Daily it looks like Josh Brolin might be offered the villain role in Oliver Stone's Wall Street sequel Money Never Sleeps.

20th Century Fox originally wanted Javier Bardem for the part but he turned it down. Oliver Stone and screenwriter Allan Loeb (21) are currently finalizing the screenplay.

Should Brolin take the part he would be joining Michael Douglas (who is stepping back into the shoes of his Best Actor Oscar-winning role as Gordon Gekko) and Shia LeBoeuf in the project.

The plot line for Money Never Sleeps has not been divulged, but it will pick up with corporate raider Gordon Gekko. Gekko's larger-than-life presence will once again loom over a younger upstart looking to navigate the shark-tank world of today's Wall Street.

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps was released September 24th, 2010 and stars Michael Douglas, Shia LaBeouf, Josh Brolin, Carey Mulligan, Eli Wallach, Susan Sarandon, Frank Langella, Austin Pendleton. The film is directed by Oliver Stone.
