Jose Padilha is attached to direct an untitled action thriller at Warner Bros.

Gianni Nunnari and his Hollywood Gang banner also are coming on board to produce the project along with Management 360's Guymon Casady and Darin Friedman.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story, by Jason Keller, revolves around an American Federal agent who goes undercover in South America's dangerous triborder area, described by Nunnari as a modern day Dodge City, trying to dismantle a terrorist funding network. Nunnari brought the director to the project, which was at one point titled "A Willing Patriot."

Management 360 and Hollywood Gang hope to cast the film with a major American star and a major Latin star.
