A new story reveals the director may have his next project in the works
The script was originally written by physicist Kip Thorne, but it was said that Nolan had been working on the script for over two years now and his agency switch to William Morris Endeavor could indicate that this project could be the next film for Spielberg, who has long been attached to direct the film.
Spielberg is currently attached to several projects, including Abraham Lincoln, The 39 Clues and others, but he hasn't confirmed which film he will do next. It appears that the site's insiders believe that Interstellar will be Speilberg's next film.
We'll be sure to keep you posted on any and all updates on Interstellar as soon as we have more information.
Interstellar was released in 2009 and stars Zoja Smutny. The film is directed by Michael Yaroshevsky.
Lincoln comes to theaters in 2012 and stars Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field, Tommy Lee Jones, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Hal Holbrook, James Spader, John Hawkes, Tim Blake Nelson. The film is directed by Steven Spielberg.
The 39 Clues comes to theaters in 2014. The film is directed by Brett Ratner.

I hope to god it is his next film, I have been waiting for him to start filming this since I first heard he was attached to it several YEARS ago! I am pumped to see Spielberg return to the Sci-Fi Genre and to see him tackle a topic we have never seen him do before! With him at the helm and Nolan at the core of the story this should be absolutely incredible! Cant wait!!
