Jonah Hill and comedian Louis C.K. have signed on to co-star in Ricky Gervais' directorial debut This Side of the Truth. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rob Lowe and Jennifer Garner are also attached to the Warner Brothers feature.

This Side of the Truth is a story that centers on Mark (Gervais), an average guy who discovers his newfound ability to tell untruths. He uses this skill in his effort to seduce a woman (Garner) who is way out of his league. Hill will play Mark's funny yet depressed neighbor and Louis C.K. is lined up to star as Mark's loser best friend.

Production for This Side of the Truth is scheduled to begin in April.

The Invention of Lying was released October 2nd, 2009 and stars Ricky Gervais, Jennifer Garner, Jonah Hill, Louis C.K., Jeffrey Tambor, Fionnula Flanagan, Rob Lowe, Tina Fey. The film is directed by Ricky Gervais, Matthew Robinson.
