Jon Turteltaub directing Last Vegas for CBS Films
We first reported on this project back in August 2009, when Peter Chelsom was attached to direct. Dan Fogelman wrote the screenplay, which centers on four best friends in their 60s who escape to Las Vegas to throw a bachelor party for the last single man in the group. The project is described as a senior citizens version of The Hangover.
Back in April 2010, we also reported that Jack Nicholson was offered the leading role in Last Vegas. It still isn't known if the actor has accepted the offer or not.
Laurence Mark is producing Last Vegas with Mandate Pictures' Nathan Kahane executive producing. No production date has been set.
Last Vegas comes to theaters in 2012 and stars Michael Douglas, Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman. The film is directed by Jon Turteltaub.
