the sopranos Review Party!
As the final episode of the The Sopranos wound down and viewers were forced to stare at a black screen for what seemed like ages, the reality of this show's end was thrust upon viewers worldwide. In an episode where it seemed like everything and nothing happened, Creator David Chase had to know that some people were going to love it while others were going to be infuriated by its abruptness.

So the question is... what did you think? Did you want more deaths? Less deaths? More talk? Less talk? More time at the Bada Bing? Or, was this the best final episode to a show you've ever seen?

I loved it. The appeal of the show was that you always saw the crazy stuff Tony had to deal with on a daily basis, but I gotta ask the question, did we ever really get into his own shoes? I dont think so, as one of the greatest things about The Sopranos was that you never knew how Tony would handle himself from situation to situation. That said, they knew they had the audience in the palm of their hands on the finl episode, and while the stuff leading up to the very final sequence was tame, the final sequence came and really stuck us into Tony's everyday life....which was SUPER awesome.

At first I was upset. I stared at those end credits and thought, "Like with Big P*ssy and the fish episode, David Chase got me again!"

Then I thought about it. I thought about the Journey song. I thought about everything that happened in the episode. While I think some people wanted more bang for thier viewing hour, David Chase felt the need to end a show about family at the dinner table.
