Two actors are about to take a bite out of John Waters latest project. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Johnny Knoxville and Parker Posey have signed on for John Waters new film, Fruitcake.

The plot is officially under wraps, but the story is said to revolve around a boy who is named after his favorite dessert. The boy ran away from his parents after they were caught shoplifting meat and he meets up with another runaway girl and is raised by two gay men who are trying to find his birth mother.

The project was previously set up at New Line but now it appears that THINKFilm is in talks to distribute. No production schedule has been announced.
