Hugo Weaving would be a good riddler, however I can see Depp doing this, with such banter , at having fun with toying with Batman. Mostly the commissioner. Like I said before, i can picture Depp saying something like, "You shouldn't worry when I call you to talk. It's when I stop talking that you should be terrified."
Then again he is a bit too famous for this role, so if Nolan can find a no name to perfectly do it, then be my guest.

The Joker was such a spotlight with his deadly humor that made the movie spark even more,so i just hope that the riddler dosent try to have that kind of humor that the joker had and to act more differerent,because if we see the riddler doing the same thing as the joker then we'll feel like if we seen this before.

The Riddler and the wholesome of the Batman franchise is right up his alley. Johnny Depp is best known for his eccentric roles. Edward Scissorhands, Willy Wonka, Jack Sparrow, Sweeney Todd, and on and on. Batman is not an ordinary superhero series. The Joker, Two-Face, RIDDLER, all unusual. Depp in my book would be perfectly suited for the lead villain in Batman 3.

Depp is great but he's played so many quirky characters already... what was so great about the Joker is we didn't see Heath as Joker we just saw the Joker. Depp plays riddler that's what we are going to see, Depp as the Riddler. I'd like to see Nolan dip into the talent pool and pull out some new talent, or someone not as established. Depp is extremely talented but he's not the only one.
