John Singleton has signed on to direct the upcoming thriller Executive Order: Six. According to Variety, the film is being produced by Ryan Kavanaugh's Relativity film company.

The plot revolves around a small snowbound town that must battle a mysterious horror. The horror turns out to be an alien unleashed after a plane crashes in the mountains.

Lawrence Bender and Karen Barber are producing the film. Shooting is to start early next year. Casting is currently underway.
