John Michael Higgins, who recently appeared as Vince Vaughn's elf sidekick in Fred Claus, has just signed onto the upcoming Jim Carrey comedy Yes Man. According to Variety, Peyton Reed will be directing the project.

In other casting news, Timm Sharp, best known as the college student Marshal Nesbitt on Judd Apatow's Undeclared, has just come aboard the Eddie Murphy comedy NowhereLand. He is set to play a slacker intern at the investment firm Murphy leaves for the imaginary world of his daughter.

Vince Colosimo has already begun shooting his scenes for the upcoming Ridley Scott drama Body of Lies. He will be starring opposite Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe.

Lastly, Simon Baker has joined the cast of David Ondaatje's independent film The Lodger. He will be appearing alongside Alfred Molina and Hope Davis.
