John Leguizamo's new film has found a home at IFC. According to The Hollywood Reporter, IFC Films has picked up Where God Left His Shoes.

Leguizamo stars in the film, written and directed by Salvatore Stabile, as an ex-boxer who struggles to provide for his wife and stepson as they wander around New York City on Christmas Eve, trying to find a job and an apartment.

The film will bow in December, in multiple formats. The film will be released theatrically and also day-and-date on video-on-demand and also on DVD through IFC's exclusive deal with Blockbuster.

Where God Left His Shoes was released December 12th, 2008 and stars John Leguizamo, Leonor Varela, David Castro, Samantha M. Rose, David Abeles, Jeannie Andresakes, Rosa Arredondo, Michael Basile. The film is directed by Salvatore Stabile.
