John Leguizamo has joined the cast of Alfredo De Villa's family dramedy Humboldt Park. According to Variety, Freddy Rodriguez has also come aboard this Overture Film Production.

The story follows three siblings that head home for the holidays. Their parents still live in Humboldt Park in Chicago, where the kids all grew up. Overture's Danny Rosett stated, "Alfredo is an ambitious and talented director that we know will bring creative passion to this film."

The project is set to go into production early next year.
