John Goodman to reteam with Roseanne for Downwardly Mobile
John Goodman is in the process of signing onto the series as a regular resident of a mobile home park run by Roseanne in these trying economic times. He will play a man who works alongside Barr at the park, and the two share a "buddy" relationship.
Former Roseanne EP Eric Gilliland will serve as the showrunner for Downwardly Mobile, while longtime Roseanne collaborator and director Gail Mancuso is set to helm the pilot. The hope is to have the series on NBC later this year.
