Joel Silver's Dark Castle Entertainment is producing a psychological thriller entitled The Factory. According to The Hollywood Reporter, John Cusack has agreed to star in the film.

Cusack is set to play an obsessed cop on the trail of a serial killer in Buffalo, New York. When the killer kidnaps the cop's daughter, the cop goes all out in bringing the violent psychopath to justice.

Morgan O'Neill is directing the film. It will begin production in January.
