@SpaceCowboy I want the sequel to happen so we can get back on track with the Gods and then the War Lord, which can have Matai return the way he should have been

@2movieguys I understand the hate, or rather disinterest coming from the reviews, but it's not a bad movie if its watched with an open mind. I enjoyed it with a few things annoying me, giving me that uncomfortable itch. I suggest people go out and see John Carter with a group of friends and just have a ball! JCM needs to makes its money if only to make a "better" sequel a possibility. I'm sure the team behind John Carter have learned from their mistakes. Don't know if Taylor Kitsch will though.

There's a great interview with Stanton on this week's episode of the Filmspotting podcast, too.

The reviews on "John Carter" have been just mixed....mostly bad!
Skipping "John Carter" (I will wait for cheap theater or DVD rental) and I'm finally seeing "The Iron Lady".! The only film I haven't seen nominated for an Oscar or other award for 2011.
