@felipe-11 One month to go then. The least I can hope for this movie is 500 even

@felipe-11 I don't see it making 400 million dollars like Tron Legacy. 335 million like Prince of Persia is already closer to what I would expect, but I can see something like 215 million (Green Lantern) happening as well. I don't think it's going to do very well.

@bawnian-dexeus Yeah, I definitely see your point, but I don't think that'll happen. After all, they went all-out on Tron Legacy and they couldn't make over 500. Maybe that's why they haven't announced another Tron sequel yet?
It seems like if Disney doesn't make as much money on movie as they did with Pirates of the Caribbean they just get disappointed and cancel any sequel plans...

Looking at it closely, reminds me of Avatar poster with Jake and his Avatar in the same shot

@moviewiz001 Well, with all the advertising I can assume the total budget is between 250-300. To make back all that is the challenge and then they should start to make profits. So, if you think about it, its about right. At least for me. but, I'm not the producer so, w/e. I just want to film to be as good as the book

@felipe-11 Disney hopes it will be higher...at least 750 world wide in order for the mto consider a sequel

@theduck @yannick-decorte Whoa, whoa... settle down guys, if Journey 2 made over $100 million only in its first week then this is definitely gonna do better.
I say it's gonna make at least $450 million worldwide in its total run (over 100 million domestic). I'm talking talking Tron Legacy/Prince of Persia money, minimum.

I don't think it's going to do very well at the box-office, but that still doesn't mean it'll end up at $5 in a bargain bin. I don't see a lot of Disney-produced $250 million dollar-blockbusters in those, even if they disappointed at the box-office.

And yes....this is an absolute bargain basement movie.......it will come out.....itll open to about $35 Million and then drop about 65% in its second weekend.......youre looking at a MAYBE $75-$80 Million total domestic gross and a certain destiny in the $5 bin at Wal-Mart next to "Are We There Yet" and "Mars Needs Moms"
