J.J. Abrams to Produce Micronauts Film?
The toy line was first released in Japan by the toy company Takara in 1974 and then brought to the United States in 1976 by the Mego Corporation, when they took on the name Micronauts. There were also comic book series based on the toy line by Marvel and Devil's Due Publishing. The toy line was recently acquired by Hasbro, who would likely be involved in a film production as well.
While Abrams didn't speak specifically about his new project, he did tell the site his thoughts about those who doubt the success of any toy line or board game film adaptation.
"Sometimes, when someone is not a celebrity and you are casting them in a role, everyone who is in a seat of authority voices questions about that actor's talent, sex appeal, looks, ability -- their everything," Abrams said. "But then they get the role, and suddenly they are on the cover of every magazine, and nobody questions those things again. In retrospect, everyone says, 'Of course that person is a star.'"

AND Mission Impossible! Want him to focus on Star Trek XII Cloverfield 2 and Mission Impossible IV. But imdb also said he's working on a diamond heist movie also.
