J.J. Abrams' pilot gets greenlight at CBS
CBS has picked up the J.J. Abrams crime drama pilot, Person of Interest, penned by The Dark Knight screenwriter Jonathan Nolan from Bad Robot and Warner Bros. TV.

According to Variety, the drama centers on a CIA paramilitary officer, presumed dead, who is recruited to work on a secret project for a reclusive billionaire.

In other news, Fox ordered the drama pilot Weekends at Bellevue, based on the book by Dr. Julie Holland.

Written by Lisa Zwerling, the medical drama is based on Dr. Julie Holland's tenure as a doctor on the emergency psych ward at New York's famed Bellevue Hospital.
