Jessica Chastain Cast Opposite Brad Pitt in Tree of Life
According to Variety, the story concerns the loss of innocence as seen through the eyes of the son of the characters portrayed by Pitt and Chastain. Sean Penn appears in a supporting role.
Pitt replaced the late Heath Ledger in the starring role.
The film is currently filming in Texas.
The Tree of Life was released May 27th, 2011 and stars Brad Pitt, Sean Penn, Jessica Chastain, Hunter McCracken, Laramie Eppler, Tye Sheridan, Fiona Shaw, Jessica Fuselier. The film is directed by Terrence Malick.
