Jessica Biel starring in The Tall Man
Laugier wrote the script and will direct the film, which centers on Biel's character whose child was kidnapped by a shadowy figure known only as The Tall Man. Here's how Laugier described the film to the site.
"I like to think of The Tall Man as a sort of Panic Room... outside! It is a 'woman in jeopardy' movie with a lot of twists and a strong female character that you feel very connected to."
The film will be budgeted at $15 million and will begin production in September, with shooting to take place in Vancouver.
